Το Δίκτυο των Νησιωτικών Πανεπιστημίων «Excellence Network Island Territories», ENIT / «Réseau d’Excellence des Territoires Insulaires», RETI ανακοινώνει το 2ο Διεθνές Συνέδριο «Νησιά και Βιωσιμότητα: Ταυτότητες, Ανάπτυξη, Διαχείριση και Σχεδιασμός» που διοργανώνεται από το Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου, στη Λέσβο, στις 19 - 21 Οκτωβρίου 2012.
Ο στόχος του Συνεδρίου είναι να παρουσιαστούν τόσο θεωρητικές όσο και εμπειρικές συνεισφορές ερευνητών από όλο τον κόσμο που μελετούν τα νησιά, τη νησιωτικότητα και τις περιβαλλοντικές, οικονομικές, κοινωνικές και πολιτιστικές πτυχές τους.
Επιλεγμένα άρθρα από το Συνέδριο θα δημοσιευθούν μετά από αξιολόγηση στο νέο Περιοδικό του ENIT/RETI με τον τίτλο: “Islands and Sustainability: Identities, Development, Management and Planning” το οποίο θα αναπτυχθεί κατά τη διάρκεια του Συνεδρίου.

The Network of Insular Universities "Excellence Network Island Territories", ENIT/ "Réseau d’Excellence des Territoires Insulaires", RETI announces the 2nd International Conference “Islands and Sustainability: Identities, Development, Management and Planning”, structured in four sessions – workshops, organized by the University of the Aegean on Lesvos Island, Greece, on 19-21 October 2012. The goal of the Conference is to include a mix of theoretical and empirical contributions from researchers around the globe that study islands and insularity and its environmental, economic, social and cultural aspects.
Selected papers from the Conference will be published after peer review in the new Journal of the ENIT/RETI with the title: “Islands and Sustainability: Identities, Development, Management and Planning” that will be launched during the Conference.
There is no registration fee and a relevant certificate issued upon completion of attendance.
