Lesvos (Midilli) adası İstanbul’da - Το νησί της Λέσβου στην Κωνσταντινούπολη (13–15/05/2011)

Το νησί της Λέσβου στην Κωνσταντινούπολη Αφιέρωμα στη Λέσβο 13-15 Μαΐου 2011   Το Γενικό Προξενείο της Ελλάδας, σε συνεργασία με το Δήμο Λέσβου, διοργανώνει στο Σισμανόγλειο Μέγαρο τριήμερες εκδηλώσεις αφιερωμένες στο νησί της Λέσβου, τον τοπικό πολιτισμό, τα προϊόντα και τις φυσικές ομορφιές του Αιγαιοπελαγίτικου νησιού. Κατά τη διάρκεια του αφιερώματος, οι επισκέπτες του Σισμανογλείου Μεγάρου θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να γευθούν φημισμένα τοπικά προϊόντα και να γνωρίσουν τη Λέσβο μέσα  από τα έργα Λέσβιων λογοτεχνών, υπό τους ήχους ελληνικής μουσικής. Το Μουσείο Φυσικής Ιστορίας του νησιού συμμετέχει με εκθέματα από το μεγαλύτερο στον κόσμο Απολιθωμένο Δάσος.  Στο αφιέρωμα, το οποίο διοργανώνεται με αφορμή τα 100 χρόνια από τη γέννηση του Νομπελίστα Λέσβιου ποιητή Οδυσσέα Ελύτη, θα συμμετάσχουν εμπορικοί και τουριστικοί φορείς του νησιού. Etkinlikler boyunca Sismanoglio Megaro’nun ziyaretçileri Lesvos adasına özgü meşhur yerel tatları deneme ve Lesvos’lu edebiyatçıların eserlerini tanıma fırsatı bulacaklardır. Yerel lezzetlerin tadımı, Ada’nın meşhur “Taşlaşmış Orman” sergisinin bulunduğu salonda Yunan müziği ezgileriyle gerçekleşecektir. Nobel Ödüllü Lesvos'lu şair Odysseas Elytis'in doğumunun 100. yılı anısı vesilesiyle gerçekleşen organizasyona ada’nın ticaret ve turizm sektörünün önde gelen isimleri de katılacaktır. During this event, the visitors of the Sismanoglio Megaro will have the chance to taste famous local delicacies and learn about the island through the work of Lesvian writers and the sound of Greek music. Exhibits from the largest Petrified Forest in the world will be presented as well. The commercial and tourist authorities of the island will be present at the event, which is organised in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Nobel Laureate poet Odysseas Elytis.
