Με αφορμή την ημέρα της Ευρώπης, στις 9 Μαΐου 2016, η Visions2Ventures και το BeyondCSRNet, υπό την αιγίδα του Δήμου Λέσβου και την υποστήριξη της Αντιπροσωπείας της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής στην Ελλάδα και την Αντιπροσωπεία του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου στην Ελλάδα διοργανώνουν διεθνές συνέδριο με θέμα «Συνεργατικοί χώροι, κοινωνική επιχειρηματικότητα και το μέλλον της Ευρώπης» στο Δημοτικό Θέατρο Μυτιλήνης.
Η προσφυγική κρίση μπορεί να λυθεί μόνο μέσα από την ενεργή εμπλοκή των Ευρωπαίων πολιτών, οι οποίοι θα αγκαλιάσουν τις ανθρωπιστικές προκλήσεις και θα τις μετατρέψουν σε ένα νέο όραμα όπου οι πρόσφυγες δεν αποτελούν πρόβλημα αλλά μια ευκαιρία.
Θέλουμε αυτή η πρωτοβουλία να αποτελέσει τον καταλύτη της κοινωνικής επιχειρηματικότητας και καινοτομίας ως τη μεγαλύτερη πηγή πλούτου και θέσεων εργασίας.
Στόχος μας είναι να ξεκινήσει μια συνεργατική πλατφόρμα μέσα από ένα δίκτυο συνεργατικών χώρων (co-working spaces) σε όλη την Ευρώπη.
Επιδιώκουμε να φέρουμε κοντά όλους τους διαφορετικούς δρώντες που εκπροσωπούν κοινότητες προσφύγων, ακαδημαϊκά ιδρύματα, επιχειρηματίες και επενδυτές, οι οποίοι θα δημιουργήσουν ένα περιβάλλον που θα αναπτύσσονται βιώσιμες λύσεις

To commemorate Europe Day, on Monday 9th of May, Visions2Ventures and BeyondCSRNet, under the auspices of the Mayor of Lesvos and the support of European Commission's Representation in Athens and European Parliament's Representation in Greece, will be hosting “Co-working spaces, social entrepreneurship and the future of Europe” initiative at Mytilene Theater, to redefine a way forward for Europe. The refugee crisis can only be resolved through the active engagement of European citizens, who “embrace” the humanitarian challenges and transform them from a perspective of seeing refugees as a problem to a perspective of opportunity.
We want this initiative to be a catalyst of social entrepreneurship and innovation as a major source of wealth and job creation.
Our goal is to launch an inclusive and collaborative platform through a network of co-working spaces across Europe.
We aim to bring together diverse stakeholders that represent refugee communities, academic institutions, entrepreneurs and investors who will co-create an enabling environment to develop tangible and sustainable solutions.
