The International Eressos Women's Festival is a non-profit making event which celebrates the history, culture, achievements and diversity of women. All women are welcome, included and celebrated here, regardless of their race, age, interests, or sexuality, whether they are newcomers to this beautiful island, or have made Lesvos their holiday place many times before.
Skala Eressos Village, with its reliable summer weather, crystal clear sea, friendly people and wonderful food offers a warm welcome annually to visitors from all over the world. Women from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Rep., Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK., the U.S. and several other countries come to join in the celebration each year and take away new friendships and understanding.

Από το 2001 πραγματοποιείται κάθε χρόνο το Σεπτέμβριο το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Γυναικών στην Ερεσσό με περισσότερες από 500 γυναίκες από ολόκληρο τον κόσμο. Εδώ και δεκαετίες ταξιδεύουν γυναίκες στην Ερεσό και έλκονται από αυτόν τον μαγικό τόπο. Ακόμα και αυτή η Virginia Woolf ήταν εδώ. Η Σκάλα Ερεσού έχει να προσφέρει αρκετά και αποτελεί ένα ΕΛΝΤΟΡΑΝΤΟ ΓΙΑ ΛΕΣΒΙΕΣ με όλες τις ονειρεμένες παραλίες, τα μπαρ για τις λεσβίες, τα ξενοδοχεία για γυναίκες, τα εστιατόρεια και καταστήματά του καθώς και το μυθικό βράχο της Σαπφούς.
